From my morning devotion:
Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
also:
Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
I think sometimes we forget that we have an ever present help. Sometimes we need a reminder that God is still on the throne. He still knows where He wants to take us. We just have to get into His perfect will.
Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
He's already spoke it. But will not force Himself on you, but like a nest of hornets he will direct you to his will.
Lord, help us to get into your word and learn your perfect will. Give us grace to walk in your way. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
